I love Rhipsalis and I hope to carry a lot more of them in the future. This one has been growing steadily for the last few weeks. Rhipsalis are in the cactus family, and now exist on every continent thanks to their berries, which are eaten by numerous bird species. Despite their cactus status, they have evolved to live as epiphytes in tropical rainforest areas - hidden under the canopy. They can handle a bit of drying out, but like a bit more water than their brethren. I have mine growing in an eastern exposure near a humidifier. I water them about once every 10 days, as long as they have totally dried out. A true delight and wonderful addition to any collection.
Shipped in a 4" nursery pot.
